A fusion of human architectural prowess and natural defenses, Great Wall at Huanghuacheng provides a glimpse of the famous structure in a relatively unrestored state, with less tourist traffic than more famous sections. Explore this wild stretch of the wall as it climbs towering mountain hillsides and ridges next to a snaking reservoir, passing through dense forests along the way. You'll enjoy sweeping views over the surrounding countryside, including small villages and neighboring mountain peaks, as you trek across and beside the partially overgrown wall. Keep in mind that much of the wall here has not been restored, so be prepared for some rough stretches, and watch your step. Put Great Wall at Huanghuacheng and other Beijing attractions into our Beijing trip itinerary website, and watch your holiday take shape.

Simply astonishing. No people at all, you get the wall for yourself. Great experience!
1st of all make sure you are wearing comfortable shoes. there is going to be a lot of walking. This is by far the most beautiful site of the great wall of china. The landscaping is magnificent. There is a lot of activities to be done here. Boat cruise in the beautiful late. But again for one to experience all this must be prepared to walk a lot and climb many stairs. But all the walking its worth it. This is the only lakeside of the Great wall. Its a must see.
