Explore the deep at Blue Hole, rich in marine life but notorious for the dangers it poses. Not without reason, the spot has been termed "Diver's Cemetery" by many in the scuba diving community. Despite this, the hole attracts many keen divers, largely because of its easy accessibility (the sinkhole sits just offshore) and its main feature, a tunnel located 56 m (184 ft) below the surface--it leads to the open sea and presents a major challenge to experienced divers. • Stunning scenery, iconic location.. deserves its reputation as a world famous dive site, breathtakingly beautiful  more »
  • The place is amazing and unique. But I want to give my opinion: for two months, they have been charged a fee to enter $10 per person, with the aim of limiting access and massification of the place. Well, the beach around the Blue Hole is full of garbage and plastics. It's still crowded (if you go from 11am you have to queue to get in). My question is: where does that money go? Has any scientific group done a study of coral viability and maintenance? Why don't you limit yourself to a specific number of divers and free divers, instead of charging such a high entry fee? The money in the driveway where it goes, because they clean and keep the place clean safe they don't. I don't think the coral has much of a future there, and they're going to load it soon.

  • Pretty spectacular snorkeling spot. Very gentle current and significantly more salty than the rest of the ocean so you sit quite high in the water. This spot would be perfect for beginners, while experienced swimmers will enjoy the coral and fish. Visibility is quite high too. Lots of scuba divers go here too but not my thing so can't comment on that.
  • Authentic location for snorkeling and diving. The blue hole is out of this world, it goes from the shallow surface to the extremely deep hole forming a rock fall with coral reefs colours and fish like you have never seen before. Absolutely amazing to look at. On the other hand the facilities around sick big time, tents as restaurants with absolutely zero hygiene and bathroom behind curtains; bottom line no logistics at all.
