Soak inside or out at Mývatn Nature Baths. A warm natural lagoon maintains a temperature of 35-40 C (95-104 F). Inside you can take an even hotter steam bath, which uses geothermal steam that rises through holes in the floor. If you get too hot, you'll find cold showers outside. Relax with a back, foot, or full-body massage, in the massage room or out by the lagoon. Often chosen as an alternative to the Blue Lagoon, these hot springs attract fewer tourists and are less expensive. The Nature Baths are in almost every way better than the Blue Lagoon. 1. The Nature baths are less Crowded than other lagoons. 2. The price is less than half of the blue lagoon. 3. The food and beverages at the bath are not only better, but also Less expensive than the blue lagoon. 4. The view from the baths is fantastic! The baths are currently undergoing renovations, but I’m sure that any improvements will make this place even more enjoyable.
Nice place. Just don't expect too much. It had a hot water pool with a nice view. And a sauna. But that's it. I think they were building a bar.
