Most visitors come to Khajuraho to see the 1,000-year-old erotic rock carvings at a cluster of World Heritage-listed Hindu and Jain temples. Divided into three groups of temples, these fine stone structures lie at the foot of the Vindhya Mountains and rank among India's most popular tourist attractions.
