We booked a lunch and tour at Valle Dell’Acate and it turned into a most memorable experience. The drive from Motica was about an hour long and after turning off of the highway, the road got funkier.... more »

We had an absolutely wonderful, personal tour and tasting at Valle dell'Acate in October 2016. I believe it was Gionatan who received us and welcomed us so kindly and helpfully. After a lovely tour of the grounds, we were treated to a fantastic tasting of a variety of special wines. Our favorites were the Cerasuolo di Vittoria and the Il Frappato. We had also opted to do the Sicilian style lunch after the tasting, and it was a completely delicious and filling assortment of local foods. Overall it was a delightful stop on our trip to Sicily. I would highly recommend it!
