Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.
Museum-lovers will get to explore Vatican Museums and Centrale Montemartini. Take a break from Rome with a short trip to MOAI Beach in Passo Oscuro, about 46 minutes away. Next up on the itinerary: admire the landmark architecture of Pantheon, admire the local landmark of Trevi Fountain, explore the world behind art at Borghese Gallery, and take a stroll through Trastevere.

Helsinki, Finland to Rome is an approximately 7-hour combination of flight and train. You can also do a combination of ferry and bus; or drive. The time zone difference moving from Eastern European Time to Central European Time is minus 1 hour. When traveling from Helsinki in April, plan for much warmer days and somewhat warmer nights in Rome: temperatures range from 24°C by day to 11°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 17th (Mon) so you can go by car to Positano.

Often referred to as the gem of the Amalfi Coast, Positano remains one of southern Italy's most sought-after vacation locales, thanks to its hillside location and picturesque, pastel buildings.
On the 17th (Mon), take in the exciting artwork at Ceramiche d'Arte Carmela and then take in nature's colorful creations at Villa Cimbrone Gardens. On the 18th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: see the interesting displays at Chiesa di San Salvatore de Birecto, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Duomo di Sant'Andrea Apostolo, then see the interesting displays at Museo della Carta, and finally kick back and relax at Fornillo.

Drive from Rome to Positano in 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of train and bus; or take a bus. Virtually unchanged for the last six centuries, Venice is actually a group of islands made famous by a series of canals, bridges, monuments, piazzas, and narrow pedestrian lanes.
Museum-lovers will appreciate Doges' Palace and Peggy Guggenheim Collection. Step out of Venice to go to Lido di Venezia and see Lido Beach, which is approximately 1h 20 min away. There's much more to do: explore the activities along Canal Grande, steep yourself in history at St Mark's Campanile, take in the views from Ponte di Rialto, and don't miss a visit to Basilica di San Marco.
