Virtually unchanged for the last six centuries, Venice is actually a group of islands made famous by a series of canals, bridges, monuments, piazzas, and narrow pedestrian lanes.
Take a break from the city and head to Laguna Veneta and Isola di Burano. Discover out-of-the-way places like Basilica di Sant’Antonio - Basilica del Santo and San Giorgio Maggiore. Venture out of the city with trips to Padua (Scrovegni Chapel & Orto Botanico di Padova).
