Once Palau's capital, Koror remains by far the country's most populous town and offers plenty of options for tourism.
Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Stone Monoliths and Etpison Museum. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Long Beach and Mandarin Fish Lake. Step out of Koror to go to Melekeok and see Big Drop-off, which is approximately 38 minutes away. There's still lots to do: view the masterpieces at Belau Art Gallery, step off the mainland to explore Kayangel Island, observe the fascinating underwater world at Dolphins Pacific, and stop by Surangel's Supercenter.

To see traveler tips, maps, ratings, and other tourist information, refer to the Koror journey planning tool.

Seoul, South Korea to Koror is an approximately 8- hour combination of train and flight. You can also fly. The time zone difference moving from Korean Standard Time (KST) to Chamorro Standard Time (ChST) is 1 hour. Expect much hotter weather when traveling from Seoul in October: highs in Koror hover around 36°C, while lows dip to 29°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 5th (Thu) early enough to travel back home.
