Wander down to the harbor to see Sun Voyager, a massive sculpture of a dreamboat. Designed by Jon Gunnar Arnason in 1990, the stainless steel artwork resembles a Viking ship and is dedicated to the sun. The sculpture is close to shore and offers a view of Mount Esja across the harbor. More art installations dot the shore if you continue to walk along the water, but this sculpture is the highlight. This Sculpture is beautiful and situated in a great location. They have several benches to kick back on and enjoy the view and art. What's great about this spot is its distance from some of the more busy spots in town making it less congested. I visited in the height of the summer and was still able to enjoy while not being crowded.

It's a sculpture on the sea front. A lot of work went in to making it and it looks great. If you can arrive at sun rise you will see the sun reflecting off the metal. The views across the bay are also worth visiting this location. The biggest problem with it is it attracts lots of people, so if you don't want a picture with people in it you might have to wait a bit.
