Discover Bali's royal history at Taman Tirtagangga, a water palace featuring a network of fountains and pools surrounded by well-manicured gardens. Though it looks ancient, the palace complex actually dates back to the 1940s. Carefully restored after a nearby volcano erupted in 1963, the grounds boast an impressive eleven-tiered fountain that forms the centerpiece of the surrounding sculpture gardens. Make a brief visit to photograph these highlights and relax amid the verdant scenery, or plan a longer tour of the terraced countryside to see fertile rice paddies and a number of old temples. • Beautiful water palace. You can buy tickets at front (50k I believe?) and also fish food for 2k-5k. The stores try to sell you the 5k fish food, but the smaller ones work just as well. I'd recommend buying fish food to better the experience. Most of our fun came from feeding fish and there were fishes of different sizes in every fountain/pool.
  • Love this place! This is the place where I visited since my child hood. It is beautiful, calm and relaxing. Not too crowded the last time we visited. Good spot to take a picture. You can feed the fish and enjoy the view.
