At Hiroshima Museum of Art, admire profound works of Impressionists, Neo-Impressionists, École de Paris, and modern Western-style Japanese paintings. A minimalistic circular design and plain white walls lend an airy feel to the museum, enhancing your experience of the artwork of Chagall, Picasso, Monet, Manet, and many others. Each gallery is dedicated to an epoch, making the visit easier to appreciate. Check the website for international special exhibits, frequently held here. Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee in the tea room, and browse for souvenirs in the museum shop. Visited on Mar. 2022. Impressive art experience. You can enjoy several paintings, statues with peaceful mind. The building is quite unique. Rounded hall is centered and surrounded square cells as like as wall of castle. I seem that it is inspired by Hiroshima castle by near.

My second favorite art museum I've ever been to! This place has some fantastic pieces during the world war times of the world. Most of which take place in France. I wont spoil too much but if you even slightly like art you will enjoy this museum. Make sure to be quiet, and no photography once inside.
