  • Awesome views that exceed your expectations but the amount of tourists was a surprise. Still worth it though, go there.

  • The view, on a clear day is good, highest point in Prabang. Few steps involved so you do get pretty sweaty if you tackle it after 10 am or so. It does get very crowded so maybe time your climb up...

  • It’s full of tourist at sunset and its obvious why, is the best place to see the entire town and how the sun goes down in the Mekong River. It’s better to climb up from the south as it has a lot to see (temples, Buddha statues, a relic, a cave, etc). The price entrance is 20.000 kip but it seems it’s not enforced for everyone.
  • Included in the MUST SEE list of Luang Prabang’s special features, this slightly strenuous walk is well worth the effort. When you reach the top after about 25 minutes (including rest stops) you get a very clear idea of how panoramic and beautiful the whole valley is. No wonder it was originally chosen as the capital 400+ years ago.
