Hike up to Lion's Head, a dramatic peak overlooking the city and offering panoramic views of Table Mountain National Park. The 669 m (2,195 ft) tall mountain lies next to the smaller, flat-topped Signal Hill, also known as Lion's Rump. You can reach the top on foot only on a relatively easy, scenic trek from Signal Hill. Although steep, the hike, suitable for children, doesn't present a challenge and will reward you with a picturesque picnic spot and viewpoint.
