The third largest canyon in the world, Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve remains best known for its remarkable viewing spots and peculiar geological features. Located within a nature reserve, the sandstone canyon was a popular site in the 19th century, when it attracted prospectors in search of gold and fortune--today, it's one of Africa's top tourist destinations.     This entire area is just so beautiful - we were so thankful we actually made it out here as it was a lengthy day drive. Make sure you do the entirety of it as there are just so many things to see.
