  • This is a great place to visit and truly one of the new 7 wonders of the world. They have two prices to ride the cable car, one for morning, and one for afternoon after 1:00pm. You save about 50 ZAR by going in the afternoon and it’s less crowded. On top there is a restaurant, a shop, and some trails you can follow. I decided to take one of the trails and wished I had brought better shoes (hiking shoes). The views are spectacular and the trails can be tricky. But it’s a must see when you are in Cape Town.
  • If you’re planning a hike. Go up at 6am. Come back down before 9am. Don’t hike when it’s windy and try not to wear your converse sneakers or jeans.
