Rishikesh — 3 nights

Yoganagari

Rishikesh draws in visitors of all creeds with its wealth of ashrams and yoga and meditation teaching centers.
Kids will appreciate attractions like Bike Rental Rishikesh (BRR) and Adrenaline & Extreme Tours. There's still lots to do: relax and float downstream with a rafting and tubing tour, take in the spiritual surroundings of Triveni Ghat, snap pictures at Ram Jhula, and relax and rejuvenate at some of the best spas.

Surat to Rishikesh is an approximately 7.5-hour combination of train and flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus and taxi. You will leave for Haridwar on the 14th (Fri).

New Delhi — 4 nights

Designed by notable English architects and proclaimed India's capital in 1931, New Delhi sits in the middle of a sprawling metropolitan area with a population of over 25 million.
Attractions like Humayun's Tomb and Qutub Minar make great kid-friendly stops. Spend the 21st (Fri) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. There's much more to do: indulge in some culinary diversions at a local gastronomic tour, steep yourself in history at India Gate, take in nature's colorful creations at Akshardham, and don't miss a visit to Red Fort.
