Within 25 km (15.5 mi) of both Singapore and Malaysia, several cultures meet on the highly developed industrial island of Batam.Kick off your visit on the 24th (Sat): browse the different shops at Mega Mall Batam Centre, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Jabal Arafah Mosque, and then buy something for everyone on your list at Nagoya Hill Shopping Mall. On the 25th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: browse for treasures at BCS Mall, then indulge in some personalized pampering at some of the best spas, and then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Maha Vihara Duta Maitreya Temple.
