Luang Prabang — 4 nights

Designated a World Heritage Site in 1995, Luang Prabang sits at the meeting point of two rivers and offers numerous opportunities for sailing, climbing, and exploring scenic caves and waterfalls.
Visit Wat Sensoukharam and That Chomsi Stupa for their historical value. Discover out-of-the-way places like Wat Xieng Mouane and 100 Waterfalls. And it doesn't end there: play a few rounds at Luang Prabang Golf Club, look for all kinds of wild species at Nahm Dong Park, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Wat Mai Suwannaphumaham, and let your taste buds guide you at a local gastronomic tour.

To find maps, other places to visit, traveler tips, and other tourist information, use the Luang Prabang trip planning website.

If you are flying in from Singapore, the closest major aiport is Luang Phabang International Airport. Expect a daytime high around 38°C in August, and nighttime lows around 28°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 27th (Mon) so you can travel back home.
