Designated a World Heritage Site in 1995, Luang Prabang sits at the meeting point of two rivers and offers numerous opportunities for sailing, climbing, and exploring scenic caves and waterfalls.
Visit Wat Sensoukharam and That Chomsi Stupa for their historical value. Discover out-of-the-way places like Wat Xieng Mouane and Luang Prabang Golf Club. Step out of Luang Prabang with an excursion to 100 Waterfalls in Nong Khiaw--about 52 minutes away. Next up on the itinerary: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Wat Mai Suwannaphumaham, steep yourself in history at Wat Manorom, make a trip to Wat Tat Luang, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Nahm Dong Park.
