Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.
On the 18th (Sun), delve into the distant past at Colosseum, then explore the ancient world of Palatine Hill, then make a trip to Trevi Fountain, and finally explore the ancient world of Pantheon. On the next day, contemplate the long history of St. Peter's Basilica, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Vatican Museums, and then get to know the fascinating history of Piazza Navona.
