7 days in Shanghai Itinerary

With a nickname like the "Pearl of the Orient," it's not surprising Shanghai offers some of the most rewarding attractions and activities in the Far East.

Explore Shanghai's surroundings by going to Suzhou (Humble Administrator's Garden, Suzhou Museum, &more) and Xitang Ancient Town (in Jiashan County). There's still lots to do: go for a walk through The Bund (Wai Tan), get a taste of the local shopping with Nanjing Lu (Nanjing Road), examine the collection at Shanghai Museum (Shanghai Bowuguan), and take a stroll through Former French Concession.

If you are flying in from Singapore, the closest major aiports are Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, Shanghai Pudong International Airport and Sunan Shuofang International Airport. In May, daytime highs in Shanghai are 30°C, while nighttime lows are 20°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 25th (Thu) to allow time to travel back home.
