An ideal base camp for exploring the Aegean coastline, Selcuk draws big tourist crowds due to its proximity to the ancient city of Ephesus.

Izmir to Selcuk is an approximately 1-hour car ride. You can also take a bus; or take a train. Traveling from Izmir in June, expect nights in Selcuk to be somewhat warmer, around 20°C, while days are much hotter, around 37°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 11th (Tue) so you can drive to Kusadasi.
