9 days in Yangon (Rangoon) Itinerary

Although Myanmar moved its capital to Naypyidaw in 2005, Yangon remains the largest city and commercial hub in the country.

Change things up with a short trip to Bogyoke Aung San Market in Pabedan (about 40 minutes away). There's lots more to do: take in the spiritual surroundings of Shwedagon Pagoda, take an in-depth tour of National Museum, stroll around Kandawgyi Park, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Immaculate Conception Cathedral.

If you are flying in from Singapore, the closest major aiport is Yangon International Airport. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 14th (Sun) so you can travel back home.
